Sicky Boy

Lil Cy has lost his voice before he has even learned to talk. Daddy has had a raspy voice for almost a week, and yesterday Cy got it too. Though we do not like seeing him sick, it is so cute to listen to him laugh with a raspy voice that barely is even audible. At least he seems to be feeling alright.

Each day with him is better than the last. Constantly Alex and I ask ourselves what life must have been like before him. A few days and he will be 7 months young already. We are trying to make the most of every day with him, even the nights when he doesn't sleep much we are trying to enjoy (emphasis on trying). Hopefully the day comes soon when he sleeps through the night, but we do not want to rush things...it will seem like tomorrow he will be shaving and driving already.

One of the best parts of life is when I get home from work...as soon as he sees me or even hears me now he breaks out in a mile wide smile. There is no feeling like that. He looks at mom as the cuddler, but daddy is the playmate. We'll have to find a way to balance that as he gets older, but we are enjoying it for now.

Lil' Swimmer

Cy is quite the lil' swimmer these days! It is so hot, and he loves to be outside. So in the water we go! He splashes and kicks and just has the best time in his little boat.
