Octagon Sanctuary

A few weeks ago, man I am really behind, we visited the Octagon Sanctuary, about 45 minutes from our house. It is a home to abused and abandoned wildlife. There are several very cool animals like tigers, lions, monkeys, aligators, and bears. Some were recovered from homes right here in Port Charlotte! Others were mistreated in a Circus or dumped after being in films and commercials. You can read each animals story and get very close to each cage to watch them play/sleep/etc. It was a very neat "field trip" that I would highly recommend if you live in the area!

Cruz at 7 months

Our sweet baby boy is growing up so fast. He wants so badly to be big like his brother! and he is progressing quickly! Way too quickly for mommy and daddy. We just got to the point where Cy knows what he is allowed to get into, and what to leave alone- now we start the process all over! He is crawling, and just recently started pulling up on things! AHHHH!!!! he is standing in his crib, and freaking out because he can't figure out how to get back down. What now?

He also has this new smile that I fortunately was able to capture... the scrunchy nose one! I just love it.

Cruz is babbling more and more with an occasional mamma and dadda! He is a pretty good lil eater too! Messy, but good. and when he is done he closes up shop!

He loves to play with his brother- and oh man does Cy ever love him!

Please slow down on growing up lil guy! We love you so much, and want to enjoy our BABY at every stage.

The current obsession in TENTS! And we build them all of the house from the moment we wake up till sun down! Cruz wants so badly to be a big boy, and right in the middle of everything his BUBBA is doing. They have so much fun together!

Dre came to visit last week, just like old times! He brought his new baby Jarren and his wonderful Mommy along too! We had such a good time! We miss you guys so much.

We didn't really get the pictures this time, just enjoyed the day! Man it was fun! We even stayed to watch the electric parade! Cy had a blast, and Cruz is chill anywhere, with his feet crossed!

First Family VACATION!

Much needed, unplanned, FIRST family vacation! The plan was to share a hotel with some great friends on Sunday night and go to Disney World the next day. Well... when we arrived at this unbelievable RESORT, we took a deep breath in and realized we needed to stay another day. Then the next morning we decided we really NEEDED one more night! What a great sporadic vacation! After a quick trip to CVS we had all we needed! Luckily there was a washer and dryer in the room!







Cy loves TENTS, and got to eat his breafast AND lunch in tents on vacation!
And Cruz enjoyed his brother's company in the pac and play!
