Lil Heartbeat

Pshhh...Pshhhh....Pshhh...Okay so I don't know how to spell what it sounded like, but about an hour ago we heard our baby's fast-paced heart beat for the first time. It was hard to distinguish the sound from all the other crazy sounds going on in mommy's stomach, but the nurse said it sounded really healthy. So today was another exciting step in this new adventure called parenthood.

We set our next appointment for four weeks from today. They said if the baby is cooperating and being photogenic we will finally know whether it is a lass or a lady. We think it is a lil lady, not sure why, but we just have that feeling. We will know soon enough!

Until then, we are just happy to know the heart is beating away...pshhh...pshhh...pshhh!
