The second time was a little more strategic, and successful! First they slept through the Christmas dinner...
When they woke up Santa was giving out a few gifts! Cy got a jingle bell ornament...
Then we took a family picture talking about how nice Santa is...
Placed Cruz on Santa's lap and inched away...
Yes we feel terrible for tricking Cy into it, but we got a few good pictures!

what sweet pictures! i'm still trying to get over the shorts and short sleeves with santa. it's really cold here :)
Good strategy! Ours with Bella was very similar, keep her sleeping in her carseat until the last minute. We expect we will have less successful attempts in the future. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas!
